This holiday season I would like to celebrate by compiling a list of the 25 best Christmas movies. However after consulting mutiple lists I have fallen a bit short of 25 movies worth mention. Please feel free to comment with suggestions. However, I do know which movie will be ranked 25th on the list, and that film will kick off our countdown on this December 1st, a countdown that will include one movie per day from now until #1 is announced on Christmas day.

Die Hard (1988)
Nothing screams Christmas like a good terrorist flick. John McClane helps protect his ex-wife while her office building is threatened by terrorists. This is a great, high-octane action flick that happens to be set during the holidays. If you're sick of the sappy cliches, dial up the intensity this holiday season with Die Hard.
